Dr. Bokkyu Kim is a licensed physical therapist, clinical scientist, and educator specializing in neurological and movement rehabilitation. He earned his Ph.D. in Biokinesiology from the University of Southern California and serves as a researcher and educator as a full-time faculty member at a university.

With over 15 years of clinical and research experience, Dr. Kim integrates advanced movement science, neurorehabilitation principles, and cutting-edge technology—such as markerless motion capture and force-plate analysis—to create personalized programs that help patients regain confidence and independence in movement.

At Unity Move Physical Therapy Wellness PLLC, Dr. Kim’s mission is to make high-quality, science-based rehabilitation and wellness accessible to every individual. His approach emphasizes precise assessment, individualized care, and education—empowering each person to understand their body and take an active role in their recovery and long-term wellness.

When not in the clinic or classroom, he enjoys practicing Taekwondo with his family and engaging in community programs that promote lifelong movement health.

Meet Mrs. Gyeonghye Shin, our wellness assistant at Unity Move Physical Therapy Wellness PLLC. She’ll be your guide, helping you set up the equipment and get started with your wellness program.
